Their favourite subject was creating a magical Hourglass.
It was a lot to handle, since you had to melt the glass in a certain way, otherwise they would say it felt strange.
If you had melted it correctly, it would fit onto the pieces of wood,
and there were months of training so you could.
They even used melted down windows,
donated by one of the local widows.
Once that was done,
it was now time for fun.
You chose a bunch of coloured sands,
and cast a spell on it. Some made it sound like a thousand fans,
and others made it help you feel well.
Then the mentor would test,
and some of the best
made it to the Hourglass Fest.
